Hey friends —
Quick one today.
I went a full week without posting anything for my own company.
Not planned.
Just busy.
Client work stacked up.
Projects needed attention.
And honestly… I forgot to follow my own advice.
And you know what?
Nothing broke.
The Reminder I Needed
We help businesses show up consistently online.
But most of our work doesn’t come from our own social posts.
It comes from:
• helping other people tell their stories
• conversations
• relationships
• doing good work
That’s the crux of it.
Don’t post just to post.
Where People Go Wrong
A lot of business owners think:
“I need to be posting all the time.”
So they do.
And it turns into:
• rushed content
• generic ideas
• posting just to stay visible
That’s when it starts to feel like a chore.
And it usually doesn’t work very well.
The Better Way
Instead of asking:
“What should I post today?”
Ask:
“Is there something worth saying right now?”
If the answer is no…
It’s okay to wait.
Use AI When You Have Something Worth Saying
AI works best when you give it something real.
A conversation.
An idea.
A story.
Then it helps you use it well.
Try this when you do have something:
Prompt
Here’s an idea or story I want to share:
[paste it]
Help me turn this into:
• 2 simple social posts
• 1 short version I could use later
Keep it natural and conversational.
That’s it.
No pressure to post daily.
Just a way to make the most of what already exists.
One More Thought
Consistency matters.
But forced consistency doesn’t build much.
Clear ideas, used well, over time?
That’s what actually works.
